concept development / brand licensing
Anita Lo has led the development and launch of multiple restaurant concepts in her 20 year career. Her menus take shape in any number of ways, Starting with her classic French culinary training, and using inspiration from her travels throughout the years to places like Senegal to Russia, Ecuador to Canada, and fishing trips to Alaska.
Her renowned Annisa restaurant was in business for 17 years in NYC's Greenwich Village, holding a Michelin star for 9 consecutive years. In February 2014, critic Pete Wells reviewed Annisa in The New York Times, bestowing the restaurant with a prestigious three stars. In the review, he calls the food “remarkable” and “impressive,” and the restaurant “graceful and unfussy.”
Lo is available to consult on projects from concept creation and business modeling, to menu development, launch, and ongoing oversight. The Annisa brand is available for licensing partnerships outside of New York City.
